Our new Home Innovation 2 Person Wicker Picnic Basket arrived very quickly after order with everything in it perfectly packaged. I feel like its christmas day every time i am unwrapping a new picnic hamper to review. This is a beautiful handwoven wicker basket with cute vintage stripe detail. The basket was smaller than i thought it would be. However that’s great as we haven’t a huge car boot!
This basket has everything you need for a picnic for two including napkins. You will need to buy a picnic blanket as that’s not supplied. The basket comes with cups not wine glasses, which was practical for us as we dont often do boozy picnics. However if romance is why your buying the basket you can add non breakable glasses instead
The basket is small as I have said, however there is enough space to pack a full picnic in it. There is an inbuilt cool insulated compartment with vintage stripes to keep you cool drinks and hot food. The basket has two food compartments which i liked so the hot and cold foods wont mix, and cold stays COLD.
As we filled our basket with food the wine has to be carried separately. However the basket isn’t too heavy so an extra bag wasn’t a bind for us (and hubby was doing the donkey work anyway!).
This picnic basket is made of willow with handmade weaving so its strong and beautiful. The handles etc are made from faux leather but reinforced for a strong hold. The cooler zipper is strong so food will stay in the basket whilst being carried a distance .
All in all a great little basket for two, everything you could want in it to have a lovely afternoon out or a starlight evening picnic. It’s also the perfect wedding or engagement gift.
